A mapped-out journey, which engages delegates in both processes and practical skills to make it come alive, aligned to sessions with internal subject matter experts.

SOUTH HAMS DISTRICT COUNCIL AND WEST DEVON BOROUGH COUNCIL: UPSKILLING MANAGERS WITH SPEED AND FLEXIBILITY

South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council cover areas in the South West region of England. Quantum Rise partnered with the councils in 2022, 2023 and continue in 2024.

In an ever-changing world, the councils needed help to ensure their teams were delivering at their best. To do this, they wanted to upskill their leaders, managers and analysts so they could create the best environment for their workforce to thrive, flourish and deliver results.

The councils needed an interactive and flexible solution that integrated into learners’ leadership and management pathways.

LEARNING AGILITY AT THE HEART OF THE SOLUTION

It was important for the solution to lead with an agile learning strategy to drive a speedy application of skills in the workplace – and deliver future organisational success.

The innovative and agile solution provides a mapped-out journey to engage delegates in both processes and practical skills to make it come alive, aligned to sessions with internal subject matter experts.

High-impact training is delivered via our interactive virtual methodology – initially quite the change for the councils, but it has been adopted and embraced due to its focus on practical skills and transferable competencies.

Sessions are also scheduled for key events to enable participants to practice their new skills in the flow of work. They were followed up by live, action learning sessions where participants brought their real-life challenges to work through as a team after putting their new skills into action.
